12 Difficult Sounds
12 worksheets for 12 pairs of English sounds that Japanese students have trouble pronouncing and distinguishing. Each worksheet features:
- A 'listening tree' (minimal pair tree)
- A quickie vocab review in pictures, to end the listening tree
- One or two illustrated, tongue-twisting sentences for pronunciation practice
Great to drop into lessons throughout the year, whenever your main activity only takes up a short time. Once you've done the first one, your students will recognise the format with no need for explanation.
As always, the PDF contains a thorough explanation of the worksheets, as well as the worksheets themselves — clear, sharp; ready to print and copy.

Fair warning: I haven't shied away from minimal pairs like sit/shit, election/erection, etc. If that's not right for your classroom, don't worry, there are only a few and they're easy enough to replace with something else.
You'll get a PDF with 12 worksheets, plus blank listening trees and an explanation of the materials.
